Autumn's Awakening

Every fall, for a couple of weeks, the aspens along Kebler Pass turn the mountainside into solid gold. This one catches that exact window in Southern Colorado: aspens and larches mid-blaze, right before the leaves let go. A warm, golden piece for a room that could use more of that light come December.
