Who we are

Coletivate ("we," "us," "our") is not a corporation or larger company — it's an independent, solo creative studio. References to "we," "us," or "our" throughout the Site and these Terms mean Coletivate.

Using the Site

You may browse the Site, place orders where checkout is open, and submit inquiries or requests for consultations and commissions. You agree to provide accurate information when you do, and not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts it for others.

Products and availability

Not every category shown on the Site is available for online ordering today. Where a "Buy" or checkout flow isn't offered for an item, use the contact form or email coletivatellc@gmail.com to ask about availability and reserving it directly. Product descriptions, images, and availability are provided in good faith but may change without notice, and we don't guarantee that every item shown is currently in stock.

Live plants and invertebrates are natural products with individual variation; the item you receive may differ slightly in appearance from photos shown on the Site.

Orders and payment

When online checkout is available, orders are processed through Stripe. Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline (for example, if an item turns out to be unavailable). Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and don't include shipping or applicable tax unless stated otherwise. We'll send a confirmation once your order is placed.

Shipping

We aim to ship orders promptly, but shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Live invertebrates are subject to additional shipping and regulatory limits and may be offered on a local pickup or local-delivery basis only — check with us before ordering if you're outside the Denver area.

Returns, cancellations & refunds

Because much of what we offer is handmade, one-of-a-kind, custom, or a living item, we evaluate returns and refunds case by case. If something arrives damaged, isn't as described, or you have a problem with an order, reach out through the contact form within a reasonable time of delivery and we'll work with you to make it right.

Consultations & commissions

Interior design consultations and custom commissions are booked through the request forms on the Site. Scope, pricing, and timeline for a given commission or consult are agreed between you and Coletivate directly (by email or in person) before any work begins; these Terms apply to the Site itself, and any specific project terms we agree on together will control for that project.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — photography, product descriptions, branding, and design — belongs to Coletivate unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Coletivate isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products purchased through it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

Third-party services

The Site relies on third-party services, including Stripe for payments and Google Analytics for usage insights. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
